While the official first day of spring isn’t until March 20th, it already feels like we’re in it here in Columbus. But just over a week before spring officially gets here, we have to lose an hour of our night as the clocks spring forward. As we said, spring is just around the corner, but before it gets here officially we have to spring the clocks forward an hour. At approximately 2:00 a.m. on Sunday March 12th – in other words, very late Saturday night – you will need to move the clocks forward an hour to 3:00 a.m. Feel free to turn the clocks forward on your way to bed if you don’t feel like staying up until 2, as long as they’re correct when you wake up Sunday morning you’ll be fine!
And while we’re on the subject, we might as well fill you in that clocks will change again later this year on November 5th. We’ll get the hour we’re losing this weekend back at 2:00 a.m. Saturday night, as the clocks fall back to 1:00 a.m.
If you have any other questions you can feel free to give us a call, but we’re not experts on Daylight Saving Time. However, if you’re in the market for a used vehicle, we’d love to help you find the perfect one for you.
