The Food Mill

Located on 2nd Ave, The Food Mill is one of our favorite places to get a great-tasting lunch. That can be anything from a classic burger to one of a tremendous variety of sandwiches. Trust us, there’s something for the pickiest eaters or too much to choose from if your tastes are a little more cosmopolitan. The turkey with cranberry spread is one of our favorites, and nothing beats the classic grass-fed ½ pound burger to get you through the rest of the day. Salads are available as well as vegetarian options for those watching what they eat.

Café Le Rue

Looking for something with cajun spice? Café Le Rue is located in The Landings on Airport Thruway and it’s a great place to stop in for a cajun lunch with classics like seafood gumbo or red beans and rice. The bunch menu includes great combos like the French Toast Bacon Cheese Burger and standards like cajun dry rub chicken wings and fries. Go for one of the La Re Pasta Bowls with delicious flavors like Cajun Pasta Parmesan with Grill Chicken and one of our favorites, Mardi Gras Pasta with Crawfish, Chicken, Shrimp, and Sausage.

Caffe Amici

If cajun isn’t your tune, then visit Caffe Amici for some Italian fare. It’s also on Airport Thruway and offers great pasta, seafood, and meat dishes sure to keep you filled up for the rest of your day. We always start with the Mozzarella Triangles, which is our favorite app, then see where the mood takes us. There are standbys like Lasagna and Bolognese, or Chicken Parmigiana alongside a range of Ravioli and vegetarian dishes. Though difficult, save room for a dessert, as the cannoli and tiramisu are great.
