This sounds like common sense, but there is a large percentage of the population that rarely ever locks their cars. Leaving your car unlocked, especially in a big city, is a very easy way to get your car stolen. So make a habit out of locking your car every time that you walk away from it.

Install an Anti-Theft Device

Most brand new vehicles come with anti-theft devices as a standard feature. However, if you are driving an older pre-owned vehicle it may not have one. If you are in that situation, we recommend having an anti-theft device with an alarm installed on your vehicle. The alarm can be especially effective at deterring potential thieves.

Hide Your Registration and Title

If a thief has your registration and title they are much more likely to get away with the crime. Therefore, we recommend hiding your registration somewhere that a thief will never find them.
