Here is the list of supplies that you will need to gather before you can get started:

  • Vaccum
  • All-Purpose Cleaning Spray
  • Paper Towels
  • Commercial-grade insecticide spray
  • Spray bottle
  • White vinegar (3 ounces)
  • Vanilla extract (1 ounce)
  • Cotton balls

Once you have gathered all of those supplies, you are ready to get started. The first thing that you’ll want to do is clean out the inside of your car and trunk to get rid of all the spider webs and materials that attract spiders. The easiest way to do this is to vacuum out the interior of your car and the trunk and then spray it down with the all-purpose cleaner.

The next step is to spray all of the hard surfaces in your vehicle with the commercial-grade insecticide spray. After that you will want to close up all of the windows and doors and allow the insecticide to work for about 20 to 30 minutes. Then you will want to open up the windows and air out the car so it does not smell like insecticide.

After that you will need to pour the three ounces of white vinegar and one ounce of vanilla extract your spray bottle and shake it up. You’ll want to spray the vinegar and vanilla solution around the inside of your vehicle. You can also soak up some of the solution in cotton balls and put them in the trunk.
