Upholstery & Carpet

One area people often forget to look in the commotion of checking everything out is at the upholstery and carpeting. It might not seem that important, but down the road if you notice the upholstery isn’t all the same color, or there’s a moldy smell coming from the back seat, you’ll be pretty upset and have to foot the bill.

Exterior & Interior Lights

Unless you’re strangely shopping for your used vehicle at night, chances are the exterior lights won’t be on when you’re looking at the vehicle. Just give them a toggle and make sure they’re all working the way they’re supposed to be. While you’re at, check out the lights on the interior as well, as they’re just as easily overlooked.

Climate Controls

You probably won’t think to turn on the air or heat while you’re giving the cabin a cursory glance, but malfunctioning heat and AC is an easy thing to hide, so always make sure that the climate controls are in proper working condition.
