Maple Ridge Golf Club

Considered the most affordable and friendly semi-private golf club in the Chattahoochee Valley, Maple Ridge Golf Club is located at 4700 Maple Ridge Trail right in town. Whether you’re looking to simply get out there and hit some golf balls, getting instruction from some of the best local professionals or signing up for an outing or tournament, this is a great choice.

Oxbow Creek Golf Course

Oxbow Creek Golf Course is also right here in town, over at 3491 South Lumpkin Road. They’re open every day of the year from 8:00 a.m. to a half an hour before dark, with the exception of Mondays, on which they open at noon, and December 25th, on which they are closed. You can reserve a tee time right on their website and get all the information you need about their course.

Godwin Creek Golf Course

Then there’s Godwin Creek Golf Course, a 9-hole course dedicated to Fore Kids Columbus, which is a Georgia-recognized youth golf program. You can bring your kids to learn how to golf and hone their skills on this great course, plus sign them up for tournaments, leagues and even the PGA Jr. League.

Country Clubs

Finally, there are of course plenty of country clubs in the area. You generally have to be a member to utilize their golf course, but if you’re interested in joining a club and getting this exclusive right, you can look into them in Columbus and the surrounding area. The Country Club of Columbus and Green Island Country Club, for instance, are found right here in town.
