Dog Parks Colubmus GA

It’s hard enough coming up with ideas for what to do during the summer months on your own, but if you’re trying to get your puppy involved as well it’s even harder. But the easiest and sometimes the most fun option is to just take them to a dog park, and there are several in the Columbus GA area that make great options for you. Check out the list below, and let us know if we’ve left any off.

Oxbow Support Facility Dog Park

The main dog park here in the Columbus GA area is the Oxbow Support Facility Dog Park, where there are plenty of rules to keep you and your dogs safe and having fun. Be sure to check their website for the rules and list of things that are prohibited. But if you’re in the clear, then you’ll be happy to hear that Oxbow offers an incredible dog park with plenty of great activities and space to run around and feel free. Furthermore, there are two separate areas so that dogs over 30 pounds can be apart from the smaller dogs so that everyone feels safe.

The Preserve Dog Park

While it’s not very large by any means, The Preserve Dog park is a beautiful place to hang out with your dog and let them roam around without their leash on. A gorgeously fenced in area with different places for your puppies to roam, you’ll be able to enjoy the scenery and watch them play for hours by heading to 5462 Whittlesey Boulevard.

There could very well be more dog parks in the area that we’re unaware of, so don’t be afraid to fill us in by listing them in the comment section below. Either way, we hope that you and your dog(s) enjoy the summer!
