2017 July 4^th Events Columbus GA

July 4^th is fast approaching, in case you didn’t realize just how fast 2017 is passing by. With Independence Day right around the corner, we thought we’d bring a few Fourth of July events in the Columbus GA and Phenix City AL area to your attention. Everyone likes to enjoy live music and fireworks for Independence Day, and there will be plenty of that in the community for July 4^th this year!

National Infantry Museum Freedom Fest

Perhaps one of the best places to celebrate Independence Day is at the National Infantry Museum’s Freedom Fest. There will be a ton of stuff to do from a giant-screen theater to concession vendors to live music and many other activities. While there are no fireworks at Freedom Fest itself, as the event ends around 5:00 p.m., event attendees will be encouraged to head to the Phenix City riverside amphitheater for fireworks after dark.

Patriotic Concert & Firework Show

Speaking of the amphitheater in Phenix City, Alabama, their firework show will first kick off with a patriotic concert at 7:40 p.m. Then at roughly 9:30 p.m. the fireworks show will kick off, creating a beautiful display above the Chattahoochee River.

July 4^th Weekend Star Spangled Beach Party

If you’re looking for something a little more extensive and perhaps even vacation-like, then consider the July 4^th Weekend Star Spangled Beach Party at Callaway Gardens just outside Columbus. With four full days of events from Saturday through Tuesday, including plenty of fireworks and live music (weather permitting, of course), the Star Spangled Beach Party is sure to be a blast for everyone involved.
